Beaumaris to Become Indpendent Public School!
Beaumaris is one of the 34 schools selcted to lead the government initiative for independent schools in Western Australia. This is wonderful news and something our school has been requesting for many years! This will offer far greater flexibility for the school and opportunity to act independently in terms of better meeting our local needs. An important aspect of our learning philosophy is the need to make connections with the outside world, making the learning more meaningful and practical. In doing so staff go beyond the norm to provide extra curricular experiences linked to learning programs in all sub schools. Excursions form an integral part of this strategy. They provide hands on learning opportunities, seeing, communicating, sampling and evaluating the world around them. These are generally planned as sub school activities and adhere to our Excursions Policy.

We are in the process of updating rosters for parent canteen helpers. Please, if you can spare a bit of time per day, week, month, term, semester or year – contact the school so we can put you on a roster that suits.
