Our Principal

Beaumaris provides endless opportunity for its students to experience variety and success. Through the diversity of our programs, the enthusiasm
of our staff and the support of our wider school community, government and private sectors we strive to fulfil the goals outlined within our
business plans in order to deliver quality learning outcomes for all children. Our endeavour is to make a difference in a dynamic global
environment, encouraging excellence and well-being. We have a culture of high expectations, and we value the collective
voice of our students, the school community and our staff.

In looking to the future and developing a vision that will carry the school towards the end of this decade and beyond, our school community has laid solid foundations for the skills, understandings and practices that support excellent teaching and learning relationships. Our concept of schooling is a global one being rapidly shaped by technology, flexibility and new paradigms for 21st Century learning.

Beaumaris is well placed to take up this challenge. Its realignment over the past six years, a well-developed whole school pedagogical framework, and the recent elevation of the school to the Teacher Development School (TDS) status in 2018 has enriched collective teacher efficacy and improved student achievement in many areas.

Beaumaris is a learning community. We share our expertise readily with other schools across the local Western Australia and the nation providing advice to others for the effective implementation of the WA Curriculum in many areas:

> English
> Early Childhood Education
> Health and Physical Education
> Humanities and Social Sciences
> Innovation and STEM education

As a high quality Independent Public School, our students, staff and school community see Beaumaris as something special; a lighthouse that is doing great things for its students and its community. There is a great deal of pride in the school and we welcome the input of our families.

The school has an outstanding reputation, locally, nationally and abroad. It is described by families as: ‘being at the cutting edge; progressive; professional; caring; exciting; challenging; valuing achievement and effort; inviting and welcoming; a fun place; and educationally successful.’

Welcome to Beaumaris!
