P and C Association

The P&C at Beaumaris Primary School is accessible to all parents and guardians of children at our school. We are an integral part of the school community. We have meetings twice a term and everyone is welcome.

The meetings last for around an hour and a half where Ms Jo Stephens, our Principal will give updates on what is happening at the school.

As part of the P&C fundraising initiatives we run a  P&C Second Hand Uniform Shop which is open every Tuesday and Wednesday between 8am and 8.40am.

We currently sell second hand uniforms and school approved hair accessories and new hats. We are looking at adding more items to the range of products that we sell over the course of 2016. Please feel free to pop into the P&C shop during our opening hours to browse our stock or to have a chat with the volunteers about any P&C related issues.

Looking back over 2015 and ahead to 2016

During the course of 2015 we held two very successful 'over 18' fundraising events; the first being a Bogan Bingo night which raised over $8000 for the school, and then a quiz night. In 2016 we hope to run some similar events that not only raise much needed funds for the school, but are also  great fun and an excellent way to meet other parents from the school.

Beaumaris School Discos are hosted by the P&C and run solely by volunteers. They are held once a term and the children have a great time. To enable these events to run we need parent volunteers so please consider how you can help with these events

In 2015 we also hosted a car wash, a golf day, movie mornings, first aid courses, a Bunnings sausage sizzle plus lots more. All of these events are organised and hosted by volunteers and all profits are reinvested back into our  school.

In 2015 we raised $39,257 And from that we  funded new air conditioning units in our Library.

In 2016 we aim to work closely with the school management team to  plan and  improve the play areas around the school and  have consulted with nature play experts and visited other local school facilities for ideas.   If you wish to be involved in this process then please come along to a P&C meeting.

We issue newsletters to the community twice per term, which will be posted on the School App and published on our Notice Board on Biara Block.
