Senior School (Years 6 & 7)
Lifelong learning and middle schooling strategies and cultures are adopted in the senior and middle years and students remain with teachers for two years, promoting stronger relationships and rapport. Teachers strive to meet the unique needs of all children including children with special needs and disabilities.
The Senior School continues to further develop Middle Years school culture and commitment to advance the learning capacity of all students and the achievement of outcomes that are meaningful and beneficial to the student. At the same time, we also provide opportunities, skills and understandings that encourage active and responsible citizenship.
The Senior Years especially focus upon independent learning skills, responsibilities, meeting schedules and a much broader education foundation through a variety of experiential learning opportunities:
- Leadership development
- Civics and citizenship
- Visual and Performing Arts
- Experiences and challenges that develop endeavour, teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Academic challenges
- Perseverance, control and well being
