Our strength at Beaumaris is our whole school community and a shared belief in promoting the best possible teaching-learning relationships and experiences to maximise learning and living in the 21 st century. Our collective strategic planning, support and active participation in achieving the goals we set, together, is a key reason for our success and international reputation as an outstanding and high demand school. The fact that everyone is prepared to go the 'extra yard' and commit to each other is the essence of our 'School Spirit' and why we all take great pride in our school.
Beaumaris is about families: parents, teachers and students; sub schools; collaborative learning; family events; teams; performing groups; and our partner Hub Schools in the Mid West region. There is a real sense of belonging and purpose. At Beaumaris we aim to provide a holistic education to prepare students, teachers and families for rapid change in an exponential technological and information driven revolution. We focus on essential core skills but also essential 21 st century Learning skills to thrive and survive in the future.
Our journey has been one of technological innovation for teachers, students and parents. All of which are targeted at developing more appropriate teaching-learning relationships in this Century. This is an ongoing journey, for the whole school community! To maximise learning engagement we need to bring the 21 st century into the classroom. This means developing skills, understandings and responsibility awareness of teachers, students and families together. Thus links between home and classroom are essential. Parents are important learners in the whole equation so they too may contribute and partner learning development, at school and out of school.
